There is a winter storm warning for the lakeshore counties north of Holland until 10 am Thursday. 4-8” of new snow likely. Expect blowing and drifting with wind gusts 30-40 mph and low visibility.
The cold will continue, but won’t be quite as cold as the past two days.
We also take a look at a historic snowstorm along the Gulf Coast.
Hi Bill, just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your forecasts and all the information you include in them. Please keep sharing. Thanks!🎈
Hi Bill! I live way up in Onaway, but I’m actually down in Montgomery, AL for the week for business. The few who showed up to the office yesterday were watching the weather very closely all morning. The moment it started snowing (just flurries at that point), the office cleared out. It was just another coworker from Ohio and myself for the rest of the day. We did get a decent snow shower in the afternoon, with snow starting to stick to the pavement. Temps hovered right around freezing all afternoon. Heading back to the hotel later on, there actually was a decent amount of ice on 65, and I had to take it pretty slow. Didn’t see any wrecks, though!
