OOPS CORRECTION: The fire you mentioned was the one they called for medical help. We did not attend the 2005 one.
This was a fun show; thanks for all the -ugh-snow and wind predictions, but also the fun family memories, shared life-experiences, comments about the talented family members, and heritage passed down from them. Jogs my own memories as well. Also ,as you forecast yesterday, heavy snow fell to the north and south but our grass isn't even covered ! We'll wait to go sledding until Saturday, as you said another round is coming!
PS: (Another Dewey Hill fire occurred about 15 years prior to the one you mentioned...they called for EMTs' and other trained personnel to boat across to assist if needed. My hubby was in one of those.)
