Expect a high of 26 on Sunday, with snow and winds of up to 20 miles per hour. The 5-day forecast is still all snow.
From Daughter #3 — Growing up, it somehow managed to escape me that my dad was famous. I don’t recall going with him to a lot of events. Looking back at photos and video from when I was in high school, often my sisters were with him at a parade or other event, and I am nowhere to be found. Probably sleeping in or just doing my own thing.
Then I went to college out of the viewing area, and law school in Texas. Other than a brief stint, I haven’t lived in West Michigan in my adult life.
So it’s always a bit of shock when I’m reminded that Dad is quite well known in West Michigan.
Starting this project with him has been a reminder of that. Between the website and the YouTube channel, we’re closing in on 2,000 subscribers. One day this week we had more than 7,000 visits to billsteffen.com. We’re not even sure how people are finding us. Thank you so much for everyone who visits billsteffen.com and everyone who has subscribed to one of the channels. It’s truly an honor to have your support.
If anyone owns a business and wants to sponsor our show, you can get in on the ground floor of retired meteorologist YouTube vlogging sponsorship. Our audience is mostly 50+, about equally male and female, and mostly in West Michigan. If you’re interested in sponsoring the show, email us at bill@billsteffen.com.
We’re also working on a few other ways to monetize our little project (merch store coming soon). We never intend to charge to access content. We’re just glad you’re here.
Have a great Sunday! I have church choir and then I have to work Sunday night.

Bill is famous! As I stated earlier, I used to be a frequent participant on Bill's Blog when he was with Wood TV 8! I always learned much from him!! At one point he was going to send me a Bill's Blog t shirt. It's ok. I have had a couple opportunities to meet him. He would walk the parade in Byron Center in late July. He did a bunch of events like that! I have always appreciated his knowledge
PLEASE KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!!
Bill Steffen is a West Michigan treasure.
