Grab your favorite beverage and join us as we share old family photos.
We know this post won’t be for everyone. There are people who visit our site for weather forecasts, people interested in seriously discussing the weather, and people who are interested in some Grand Rapids nostalgia and reminiscing about yesteryear. We love you all! Maybe all we’re doing is preserving family history between the two of us, but maybe a few of you will want to watch. We’re working on some other ones, too - posts about our favorite Grand Rapids businesses that have gone defunct (Rogers department store, I’m looking at you), and some photos from our travels. All of that is still to come.
In this post, we compiled some family photos, and we go through and talk about them together. I’m Daughter #3, and I can tell you that Dad’s comfort in the spotlight is not genetic. Maybe it will grow on me - I never thought I would be a wingman/sidekick of an internet/YouTube blog, but here we are.
We’re still working on getting Dad’s video going so that we can do this on camera. Dad’s production team (me) is remote in Alabama, so troubleshooting can be a bit complicated.
Please subscribe to the YouTube channel if you haven’t already. Every like, subscribe and comment helps with the algorithms to help our channel grow.
Also, I’m loving all the pictures you all have been sending in. I love travel, and any beautiful scene. None of us will ever see even the slightest fraction of the amazing creation that God has made. So I love every opportunity to glance at these moments from the photos that you all share with us. So please keep those coming, I look forward to each one.
Thanks again for all the interest and support. We are having a lot of fun with this project. Have a great day.
Thank you so much for sharing, I too miss Mr Fables! It is always interesting to learn about the histories of families and where people came from! Very interesting stories.
Can’t wait for the cats to come back!
