Mellissa sounds like it's just winding up. We found a Tropical Storm is nothing to 'sneer' at while in Puerto Rico years ago. First, Chantel went thru on the North End of of the Island. 7 days later Dean covered the whole island. We were on top of El Yunque' just starting to hike down when the lightning and walls of rain hit -as it was over St Thomas and coming our way. The rain was incredible. Even with ponchos everything was drenched inside and out. There were six lanes of traffic heading home -on a four lane hi-way. My son couldn't get home that night due to 6' flooding in some places, so joined us at our condo. (the owner called from the states to make sure everything so far, was 'ok'). The flights home were all moved back 36-48 hours. It was a powerful 'storm' that we'll never forget. Prayers for the folks in the path of that much water and wind.
