From Daughter #3 —
We’ll talk about snow totals. Expect a high of 32 for Saturday. There’s going to be cold weather early next week. The five-day forecast has snow every day. It’s Winter with a capital “W.”
If you’re like me, you head out the day after a holiday to a grocery store to try to snag flowers and other holiday goodies 50% off. There’s a grocery store down here in Alabama, Winn-Dixie, that’s usually pretty good for discount after-holiday stuff. This year I got myself after-Christmas and after-Hanukkah flowers.
We ended up doing a little Midwestern nostalgia night for our Valentine’s day. There’s a Culver’s and a Kilwin’s in Hoover, Alabama, near Birmingham. It’s a ways from our house, so we made a night of it.
I work Saturday night. Saturday nights at the airport are always a good time. It’s like being on a reality TV show. The plot lines write themselves. (Watch out for romance scams, people. There are a lot of unscrupulous people out there.) Dan’s flight didn’t end up getting in until 3:30 a.m. last night. It was scheduled in at 11:15. It was a late night, but I am grateful for safe travel.
Have a great Saturday! What West Michigan events do you have planned for the weekend?

Wow, these last few storms have really been tough to forecast!
Bill, I don't remember seeing the "percent chance of 1" [or more] of snow " graphics and suddenly they seem to be in everyone's forecast. Is this something new?
I plan on staying home because I absolutely hate cold and snow
