Monday, February 3, 2025 - Daily Forecast Vlog
Dense fog this morning, but today's high should reach the low 40s.
The groundhog says six more weeks of winter. But we knew that for West Michigan anyways.
Fog might interfere with the Monday morning commute.
Down here in Alabama (where I, daughter #3, live), people are making small talk about how wintery winter has been. I think I had to wear a coat for like four days, it has been brutal. We actually had enough snow for making snowmen for a day a few weeks ago. I almost wrote for kids to make snowmen but there is no age cutoff for snowperson making.
Walking out of work last night at 10:45 p.m. the air was crisp and about perfect. I'd guess about 65 degrees, but that's just a wild guess. I was comfortable in just my work jacket.
The thing I miss about Michigan the most is being by a freshwater lake in the summer. I scheduled a week of vacation this summer just so I could make my way north for that purpose. Not sure if we'll do West Michigan or not, I like Wisconsin, too.
Have a great Monday.

Great post, I very enjoy the history with the blizzard information. Also, Carrot Cake is my favorite...I dont hear that from too many people.
Love the post! Seems we might have turned the temperatures toward Spring. Umm...doubt it's really here. I think Mother Nature still has something up her sleeve for the remainder of Winter.
65 degrees and light jacket? You are roughing it for sure!
Love the great lakes...one my favorite places to go and spend some time is Mackinaw (the city of) and the Island in the summertime. A couple of the locals there told me that due to the influence of Michigan and Lake Huron on the other side, the air is actually cleaner and more healthy to breathe.
I grew up vacationing in Rondeau Park, Ontario. Our cottage was right off of Lake Erie!
